Today we conclude our journey devoted entirely to fair trade with NR Rapeseed, the brand, which last year celebrated 50 years of activity. NR Rapeseed certainly offers its customers a wide choice of materials, treatments and coloring for the uppers. And shoes from funds in brushed leather, heels rifest hand proposed in at least three different heights.
With great enthusiasm, NR Rapeseed Bosnian Handicrafts has embraced the project for a lever of humanitarian and social redemption. The origins of Shrift launched in 1995, there is a program of psychological support to Bosnian women refugees in camps. Initially the humanitarian organization Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) to provide wool and cotton to make small crafts.
An activity that comes with a therapeutic purpose, to help women overcome the trauma and the deep wounds of a devastating war. From this location comes to the NGO “Rukotvorine Bosanko – Bosnian Handicrafts”, which now join about 500 women.
Among the latest productions, one that recalls the ’70s with precious crochet craft developed in three patterns: concentric circles, patchwork and embroidered flowers. Particularly noteworthy are the wedges from fine plateau, Capri slippers, sandals and flip-flops of the slave, in addition to grants made entirely by hand to complete the collection.
